The Organ Project has numerous heritage and cultural aspects:

The Lewis organ from St Paul's URC in South Croydon is one of Croydon's finest instruments. Every aspect of its sound will be meticulously retained and it will speak again for many decades to come.

St Mildred's has a long and distinguished musical tradition, with a superb choir of children and adults.

​

The Junior Choir provides music tuition in reading music (in invaluable life skill) and vocal technique, free of charge.

The church is well known locally and further afield for its musical excellence, and its superb acoustics.

St Mildred's hosts many concerts with a highly varied repertoire, and a recital series that aims to give young and aspiring artists the opportunity to perform.
